Düren / Furtwangen, July 14, 2014 – Anyone who has received a new ID card at the citizens’ office of the city of Düren and would like to use the online ID function can now purchase the card reader required for this at the citizens’ office at a reasonable price. The certified readers from Reiner SCT are available in three versions.
The basic reader costs 25.00 euros, the standard version, with its own keypad for PIN entry, costs 50.00 euros and the comfort device, which also supports the qualified electronic signature, costs 100.00 euros.
A look at the citizens’ portal of the city of Düren shows that it is worth buying a card reader.
At www.onlinedienste.dueren.de, citizens can already identify themselves securely and, for example, apply for a registration certificate or certificates from the registry office using the online ID function of the new ID card.
