Furtwangen, February 18, 2011 – The new electronic ID card (nPA) has been available since November 2010.
To date, REINER SCT is the only manufacturer to offer not only a basic reader but also higher-quality chip card readers to read the data it contains securely and easily.
The Furtwangen-based company will be demonstrating the advantages of the new ID card and showing live how it can be used.
CeBIT visitors to the stand will receive free passport photos to take away as well as vouchers with which they can purchase the nPA readers at a considerable discount.
REINER SCT will be presenting its new authentication solution, the OWOK modular security system.
Different card, device and security technologies can be individually combined to create a complete identification solution.
OWOK is easy to integrate into existing applications and can be optimally adapted to individual business requirements thanks to its modular design.
This enables controlled and secure access to the company network from outside.
Another new feature is the vacation, shift and absence module in the time recording and access control system time card (USA module for short).
This allows all absences such as vacation, flexitime, business trips and doctor’s appointments to be requested in real time using an electronic form.
In the banking sector, REINER SCT offers the tan Jack ® optic SX, the fourth optical TAN generator in the tan Jack ® optic product range.
Carsten Sommer, Managing Director of REINER SCT: “This is our smallest TAN generator. The device has only four buttons and a large display. This makes it not only secure, but also particularly easy to use.”
Banks can have the generators delivered in the bank’s own color and with a printed logo.
REINER SCT will pay the CeBIT entrance fee for its registered visitors:
