Customers do not have to disclose their account number or sensitive data such as credit card details to pay for goods.
This ensures anonymity.
Reiner SCT is also using the portal to demonstrate the multifunctionality of the GeldKarte in conjunction with a card reader.

A personal certificate can already be stored on many GeldKarte cards.
