Furtwangen, March 23, 2010 – Contrary to the economic trend, REINER SCT ended the 2009 financial year with a 25 percent increase in turnover.
This is the highest turnover in the history of the technology company, which was founded in 1997.
It set up a new development office in Freiburg and expanded its premises at its main site in Furtwangen.
In the course of the expansion, seven additional employees were hired.
The home banking security expert was instrumental in developing the optical TAN procedure, which is now used across the board by savings banks and cooperative banks.
The company’s innovative strength is also demonstrated by the two nominations of its devices for the red dot design award 2009.
The award went to the chip card reader cyber Jack® e-com plus.
Carsten Sommer, Managing Director of REINER SCT: “We are expecting further growth in 2010, especially as we are launching a line of readers for the new electronic ID card (nPA). This will be issued in November and will gradually replace the old ID card.”
Carsten Sommer will be happy to give you an interview.
