Furtwangen, 11/15/2006 – REINER SCT has integrated the Mobotix M22M Secure camera into the time card time recording system. The market leader for smart card technologies in Germany is thus consistently addressing the needs of small and medium-sized companies for professional time recording systems that are easy and cost-effective to implement and offer innovative additional functionalities. Companies now have the opportunity to expand their time and attendance system into a complete access and security concept with little effort and at low cost. Integrating the camera into the time recording system also improves the accuracy and clarity of time recording. “When selecting suitable cameras, we opted for Mobotix because the company is the market leader for network camera technology and has a high level of professionalism,” says Carsten Sommer, Managing Director of REINER SCT. Another aspect was the good price-performance ratio of the camera for small and medium-sized companies.”
Establishing an access and security concept With the option of displaying live images, companies can use the time Card software as a surveillance camera.
In addition, when the time Card with image capture function goes into series production in 2007, access control for visitors will be possible by using the microphone and loudspeaker built into the camera.

Improved accuracy and overview time Card manages the camera’s image data in a ring image memory.
Each time the employee makes a booking, the image corresponding to the booking time is assigned to the exact second.
This image can be called up at any time in the time Card booking overview.
The megapixel resolution of the Mobotix cameras also ensures razor-sharp images with 1.3 million pixels and 960 image lines.
This prevents confusion due to poor image quality, for example.
An attendance list, which can be displayed if required, shows the employees currently present in the image, including their arrival time to the second.
The ring memory can be set from a few hours to several days as required.
It is also possible to display image sequences over any period of time at any time. (The text contains approx. 2,849 characters)
