They have the option of integrating the HBCI Finder into their own websites. About HBCI HBCI is the abbreviation for Home Banking Computer Interface. HBCI has become the data exchange standard for home banking. The HBCI standard is based on triple security: – using a chip card, – the secret code (PIN) for the card – keys to secure the transactions required for communication between the customer and the bank.
When establishing the connection, the user authorizes himself with a password via his HBCI software on the bank server and establishes a secure channel for transferring data. The user can then complete their transactions, which are sent to the server in a data segment after completion. All data is exchanged via a backup technology integrated into the software.
