Furtwangen, December 13, 2010 – Furtwangen University and REINER SCT asked medium-sized companies how they benefit from their electronic time recording system in their daily business.
The users cited time and cost savings combined with increased data quality as the most significant benefits.
Since using the electronic solution, working times can be evaluated more quickly and easily, according to 40 percent of the study participants.
Around a third also stated that the recorded data is more accurate.
They see the detailed information on overtime or absences, for example, as a clear benefit.
For 14 percent of the SMEs surveyed, these aspects are demonstrably reflected in their costs.
This is because they save on personnel and administration costs.
The fact that employee motivation has increased was explicitly emphasized by 4 percent.
