The Furtwangen-based company is the German market leader for time recording and access control systems as well as chip-based access protection and card readers. Working from home is becoming increasingly popular. Inspired by coronavirus and encouraged by employers, many people are setting up their home office within their own four walls. In addition to secure access systems to the company network, this also requires intelligent time recording. The working time must then be recorded not only in the home office, but also in the office at the company. The company, which, for example, develops and produces the access systems for lawyers’ and experts’ electronic court boxes entirely in Germany, does not have a direct sales organization. However, the reasons for the future cooperation between Siewert & Kau and REINER SCT go beyond sales. On the other hand, people now want to record precisely how many hours have gone into a particular project and what it costs at the end of the day. But this is not possible with time recording at the gate, because the days of the time clock are over.
