The external RFID reader V3 for the timeCard access control is an RFID wall reader that can read both timeCard ID cards as well as timeCard transponders. It can be installed both indoors and in protected outdoor areas using surface mounting.

Product description for timeCard external RFID reader V3 for access control

The innovative design of the product enables quick and easy installation thanks to the two-part housing construction. The integrated snap-in terminal strip in the rear case ensures a convenient connection. During installation, the front case with the electronics is simply snapped onto the pre-wired rear case and secured with two stainless steel screws. An injected special seal ensures that the housing is sealed. Thanks to the advanced circuit design, transponders or RFID cards are detected and read early and reliably, supported by a four-color backlight and acoustic signaling. The external RFID reader V3 can be connected to the following terminals:

  • timeCard Terminal 3
  • timecard accessbox
  • timeCard Multiterminal RFID (DES) – since 01.06.2020 EOL!
