This is how it works:
When executing an online banking order, insert the VR-BankCard into the sm@rtTAN photo reader. Then position the reader so that the complete color matrix code appears on the screen.
As soon as the color matrix code has been recognized, the order data is displayed on the screen. It is important to check the data displayed. The data displayed should match the original transaction data. Then confirm with OK and the TAN will be generated. This is only valid for this transaction and for a few minutes. Enter the TAN in the corresponding field in online banking and then confirm the transfer with OK.
